Kara & Brian
On July 31st I helped my talented friend Shay Spaniola photograph Kara & Brian's wedding at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Ann Arbor. I had never seen a Greek orthodox ceremony before and I loved being able to experience and document it :)
Kara and Brian are an adorable couple who actually met in elementary school! They were so happy throughout the day and it was truly a great event to photograph.

Briana & Bob
Briana and Bob were married on June 26th and they had such a beautiful backyard wedding! I already posted some sneak preview photos but there are so many more that I love and want to share :) Everything from the pattern on the couch, the chandelier in the den, the rocking chairs on the porch, the old schoolhouse, the pie for dessert, and the house itself, gave me a great vintage feel so that is probably why most of the photos in this post have tinted color :)

I loved the bride's entrance with her father as they came out through the screen door and walked to the ceremony site... the clouds were perfect.
We had to take some shots in front of the old Dixboro one room school house which Briana's grandmother once attended!
The early evening light was beeeautiful.

Helen & Kyle
My cousin Helen was married to Kyle in February. Between graduating and taking a month long trip to Madagascar, I never got around to posting these! I am going to now because I was really happy with the way they came out, especially because Helen & Kyle's wedding was my first indoor wedding and my first winter wedding. I loved the snow on the patio at night and a lot of the images are my favorite in black and white.
